PRCF’s work is guided by institutional decisions adopted through its collective meetings and by the responsibilities assigned to its working bodies.
At the PRCF In-Person Meeting of 23–24 August 2026, PRCF adopted five immediate areas of work:
1. Strengthen research activities.
2. Organize and build the capacity of youth and women.
3. Develop PRCF cadres.
4. Strengthen and expand the International Relations Committee.
5. Develop and approve procedures relating to new membership and withdrawal from membership.
These immediate priorities operate alongside implementation of the six-point Political Roadmap, which covers the political environment, inclusive political dialogue, constitution-making, democratic elections, constitutional institutions and constitutionalism.
Research and Policy
PRCF has maintained research activity as an institutional workstream. The 2026 meeting reaffirmed the need to strengthen research as part of PRCF’s immediate programme of work.
Youth and Women
The meeting called for youth and women to be organized and supported through capacity-building. It also assigned representatives from member organizations to coordinate youth-related work.
Institutional Capacity
PRCF identified cadre development and membership procedures as immediate institutional priorities. These areas support organizational continuity, participation and clearer procedures.
International Relations
PRCF decided to strengthen its International Relations Committee so that external engagement, diplomatic communication and international analysis can be coordinated more systematically.
Digital Public Information
The same meeting formally decided that a PRCF website should be developed and that the responsible person should cooperate with the PRCF office team on necessary matters. This website forms part of that institutional public-information work.
