PRCF maintains research as an institutional workstream supporting political analysis, federal policy development and practical recommendations.
Research Team Development
According to the PRCF Research Team Annual Report, the Research Team was established in November 2024.
Its initial work was organized around political and international affairs, and military and economic affairs.
In October 2025, the Research Team agreed to work collectively on two priority themes:
1. Building inter-ethnic unity on a systematic foundation.
2. Development of PRCF’s International Relations Policy.
Research Result
The Research Team reported completing the first priority research paper on building inter-ethnic unity and submitting it to the Secretariat.
The research examined political, economic, historical and conceptual causes of division; mistrust and structural weaknesses that obstruct unity; practical actions and potential partners; and policy recommendations consistent with PRCF’s federal direction.
Research Limitations
The annual report also openly recorded limitations, including difficulties in participation, inability to conduct field research, dependence on available documents and reports, and delays against the original workplan.
The second planned research theme concerning PRCF’s International Relations Policy had not yet been implemented at the time of the annual report.
PRCF’s August 2026 In-Person Meeting again identified strengthening research as an immediate institutional priority.
